I began making small watercolor paintings during lockdown, exploring a medium that I’d always been drawn to but hadn’t practiced much. I watched Skillshare classes and YouTube videos to learn some basic techniques and found items from around my house and neighborhood to paint. Eventually I had 72 individual paintings that all found their way into this little calendar, which I call A Tender Year. I hope you enjoy it and heartily encourage you to try painting yourself! I have found it to be such a wonderful way to celebrate the little things I love.
- 8.5" x 11" (US Letter sized).
- Professionally printed by my local print shop, Rhino Digital in Portland, Oregon, on 80# Cougar Natural paper, which is a delicious, vanilla-colored, very smooth paper, similar to the hot press paper I painted the original paintings on.
- Unbound, but comes with an "antique bronze" metal wire binder clip for hanging (see first and last photos).
- You can trim the calendar part of each sheet off in order to frame just the artwork when you're finished with each month.
