Block your work when you finish Tiramisu baby blanket Millie cardigan in "Vintage Crochet" The infamous Ripple Blanket of 2007

I do love to crochet. Though my grandma crocheted, I didn't learn how to do it until I taught myself from a book in 2001. I love to use traditional shapes, stitches, and motifs and rework them in fresh colors and fine yarns. For me, crochet has to be simple and stylish. I don't go in for anything that's too frilly, or too complicated.

Sometimes I crochet just for myself, and I frequently show my progress on those personal projects in the Crocheting and Knitting section on my blog. Other times, I'm asked to contribute designs to magazines or books, and links to those (as well as errata, oops!) can be found here. Occasionally I crochet original items for sale in my web shop.

When I have time, I love to design my own original patterns. Now available for download, these patterns are also offered wholesale (as hard copies) to yarn stores, and can be found in a few of the world's most beautiful and unique yarn shops. To see and order my patterns, or to find a local yarn store near you where you may purchase them, please visit my web shop.
